I was thinking of making a photo coffee book of all the pictures I have taken in the last ten years. I have taken a lot! I don't even know how to organize them anymore. Flickr helps a lot though. Lately I've been going back to my older ones and redoing them, editing them and playing with them. What are some of the things that you have done with your accumulation of photos?

Music : Metric

I just discovered this new band (new for me) called Metric. I have been listening to them nonstop. They are great for working out, biking around town, on your way to and from work, or just pepping up to do any chores. At least that's when I listen to them. If you like the New Young Pony Club, Cut Copy, The Ting Tings and Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs you will like them. Here are two of their songs that I like a lot. Enjoy! What day was New Year's Day this year? Well it was a Thursday. That is something that October and January have in common on non-leap years, or common years. Just as in January and the New Year, October for me is a time to reflect and look forward once again. Maybe it's because I'm very lugubrious too, but this month always makes me happy and pensive too. I wake up in the morning and the fresh cool air makes me feel alive and aware. I take a deep breath and feel great. Mind you this is usually at six in the morning and I am on little sleep sometimes. There is something cozy about bundling up and riding your bike, or walking through the park and seeing the leaves change colors and slowly to our perception, but fast in reality, fall off the trees. These three months are very beautiful, you can almost feel the existence of the Earth in the Universe. Plus the parties are fun too during this time, wouldn't you say? What is your favorite month?

End of Summer

Just reminiscing on yesterdays Summer weather. though I am happy for Fall, I will miss riding my bike all over the city and things like this; fireworks by the lake.

Wednesday Afternoon

Nice surprise today when I thought I had a training at work from 8 to 5pm and ended up finishing at 11am instead. Emily and I decided to walk over to the MCA to see the exhibit that is finishing there soon. I forget how nice weekdays afternoons are when one is off.
